a good knowledge in drawing.
Objectives
:
To be able to prepare and apply the different
lime coatings necessary for the preparation of the fresco painting
support and then to paint « a fresco » the customer-required
mural decoration on this mortar.
 Teaching
methods and extracts from the syllabus :
-
The syllabus includes, on the one hand, individual portable tries
through copying part of a fresco painting belonging to this technique
heritage and, on the other hand, collective achievement on a mural
support with the use of « giornate »
- The trainee will learn classical matt effect fresco techniques,
gloss effect marmorino techniques (stucco lustro) and sgraffito
techniques (drawing by scraping the coating body),
- Summary and technical documents are given to the trainees at
the end of the course.
