Trainees
:
Open to beginners. Basic knowledge in drawing and colours is an
asset but is not compulsory.
Objectives
:
- Learn the techniques and the know-how
required to be able to achieve patinas, decorative wood and marble
imitations according to contemporary trends,
- Study of inlaid work imitation, ornamentation and mural trompe-l'oeil
panorama.

Knowledge of supports, base coat application before decorating
(sizings and paintings),
- Oil patinas, crumpled, sponged, stenciled, smoothed and acrylic
patinas,
- Patina brushes (use of hog bristle),
- Decorative patinas, lime patinas,
- Trompe-l'oeil moulding and contemporary ornamentation,
- Decorative wood (maple, cerused oak...) and marble imitations,
- Stone imitation, brickwork and precious wood imitation,
